Where Winds Meet Hidden Mountain Priority List map overview

What to unlock first in Hidden Mountain

Hidden Mountain sits north of Qinghe behind mist and a suspended gate. The map stacks three layers: surface valleys and riverside camps, cliff / cloud cities with ziplines, and underground Mohist works packed with gear halls and Luban Lock puzzles.

Two hard gates open the full region:

  1. Character Lv.32

  2. Hidden Mountain Main Chapter 2: Haven Astray (after the Kaifeng Chapter 1 prelude and Bringer of Embers)

Story beats that pay for themselves early:

  • Track Feng Jisheng at Meandering Bank (Wandering Bank) once the chapter points you there. The walk fills Storage EXP, Oscillating Jade, Mohist Tallies, and Echo Jade while you push the unlock.

  • Run Divinecraft / Crafts Thesis tasks as soon as Mohist Hill invites you. Research progress (Bramble Twig, Macaque, and similar tracks) sits on the same routes you already farm for exploration points.

  • Treat Wooden Chicken material hunts and local Oddities as A-tier fillers between story beats. They stack Tallies and EXP without sending you out of the region.

See a "world is treacherous" warning? Finish the Lv.32 + Haven Astray pair before you force deep cliffs. Early Suixiang climbs burn more time than they save.

Mohist Tallies, Echo Jade, and the exploration loop

Exploration is the real day-one economy. Chests, Oddities, riverside camps, and ruined walkways drop:

  • Hidden Mountain Mohist Tallies (region currency; exchange for Kaifeng Coin at the Golden House)

  • Echo Jade

  • Oscillating Jade / Jade Fish / Gold Abacus Beads

  • Storage EXP in large chunks (often 750–7,500 per clear)

Bank Tallies before you dump them into Kaifeng Coin. Early trades starve Universal Love Shop and research sinks. Keep a buffer, then convert only what the next upgrade needs.

Farm about 2,000 Hidden Mountain Exploration Points in week one. Grand Lightness and Wallstride turn the vertical map into a route. Ziplines, lightness skills, and Mohist mechanical birds only pay off after that permit.

Run New Armament Drill (through Aug 20) before you burn breakthrough materials on Bamboocut: Kite. Trial the Path on dummies, then commit.

Take world-boss first clears when you can survive them. Leave the real farm for Lv.96+ Trial and Guild Breaking Army once both accessories sit in your bag.

How to run the Hidden Mountain Priority List in one sitting

  1. Step 1: Update to Version 2.0 and claim login / launch free draws.

  2. Step 2: Finish Kaifeng Main Chapter 1 if Bringer of Embers still sits locked.

  3. Step 3: Push to Lv.32, then clear Haven Astray for the full map and Skygrasp Rope Dart.

  4. Step 4: Join Mohist Hill (or buy Heavenwill Gauntlets from Universal Love Shop) and equip the fist + rope pair.

  5. Step 5: Farm Suixiang / Shenze chests, Oddities, and boundary stones to ~2,000 Exploration Points for Grand Lightness.

  6. Step 6: First-clear Ci & Cuo and Ironheart Centipede when your level supports them; park both on weekly Trial / Guild thereafter.

  7. Step 7: Touch timed events once in the first 48 hours (Pilgrim Notes, New Armament Drill, Mountain Autumn) so you know what expires Aug 20.

If your Monthly Pass cycle is about to end while you grind the region, read the Monthly Pass renewal fix before you double-buy. The pass is a one-time 30-day product, not an auto-subscription.

How to get more Echo Beads and upgrade materials

  • Clear Hidden Mountain Oddities, Jianghu Legacy volumes, and world-boss first clears for Echo Jade and chests.

  • Finish Pilgrim Notes and New Armament Drill before Aug 20.

  • Keep Homestead weekly orders moving if you still farm Qinghe between Hidden Mountain sessions (Homestead update notes).

  • For outfits, mounts, or Appearance Exchange pieces such as Tiger’s Vigil, use VGTopup Where Winds Meet top up with Character ID only. Game overview and currency basics live on the Where Winds Meet app page.

FAQ

What is the Where Winds Meet Hidden Mountain Priority List order?

Clear Lv.32 + Haven Astray first, join Mohist Hill for Gauntlets, farm ~2,000 Exploration Points for Grand Lightness, then first-clear the two world bosses when you hit the level band. Everything else in 2.0 branches off that spine.

How do you unlock Hidden Mountain?

Reach Lv.32 and finish Hidden Mountain Main Chapter 2: Haven Astray. The prelude starts from Kaifeng Main Chapter 1 (Bringer of Embers → Parting Tale → Haven Astray).

Should you join Mohist Hill?

Yes if you want Heavenwill Gauntlets, construction buffs, Crafts Thesis research, and Divinecraft. Keep Precept Value above 40: skip Vendetta Bounties, and run Judgments when the meter slips. You can still buy Gauntlets from Universal Love Shop without a full join.

What drops while you explore Hidden Mountain?

Mohist Tallies, Echo Jade, Oscillating Jade, Jade Fish, Gold Abacus Beads, and large Storage EXP packets. Tallies convert to Kaifeng Coin at the Golden House when you choose to trade.

When should you fight Ci & Cuo and Ironheart Centipede?

Take the first clear once you can survive the arena. Park the real farm at Lv.96+ on Trial / Guild rotations for Tier 96 gear. Pushing them under-leveled slows the Exploration Point route more than it helps.

Conclusion

Use this Where Winds Meet Hidden Mountain Priority List as a fixed spine: story gate, sect and weapons, exploration permit, then endgame bosses. Bookmark the page for event cutoffs and unlock changes after each patch. When you buy skins or Season Shop pieces for the new Path, recharge Echo Beads on VGTopup Where Winds Meet top up.
