Pick the right wallet for your region and top up Mobile Legends Diamonds, Weekly Pass or StarLight in under two minutes with local fees explained.

What Diamonds, Weekly Pass and StarLight Actually Give You

Diamonds are MLBB's premium currency. You spend them on heroes, skins, StarLight and pass bundles. If you pay, you pay for Diamonds — everything else hangs off that.

The Weekly Diamond Pass is the value play for daily players. You get 220 diamonds total over 7 days: 80 Diamonds right away, then 20 Diamonds each day you log in for seven days, plus a Late Sign-in card if you miss a day. Best if you log in daily. Skip it if you play twice a week.

Here is the snag. That pass does not count toward Recharge Benefits. Moonton's recharge events track standard diamond purchases. Weekly Pass diamonds will not move that bar. You need a normal diamond pack for the recharge skin, tickets, or bonus draws.

StarLight is separate. It costs 300 Diamonds for the standard membership and 750 Diamonds for StarLight Plus. You get the monthly exclusive skin, extra painted variants, custom battle effects, and weekly free heroes. Twilight Pass is a progression track with its own exclusive skins and level rewards.

Here is what those core purchases look like in two of the biggest MLBB markets right now:

Item Price Example What You Get
Weekly Diamond Pass ₱131.86 / Rp. 27.550 220 total diamonds over 7 days
Twilight Pass ₱625.39 / Rp. 150.000 Progression rewards and exclusive skins
StarLight Membership 300 Diamonds Monthly subscription for premium cosmetic rewards

For raw diamonds per peso or rupiah, the Weekly Pass is built for value, but it won't count toward recharge events — plan around that.

By Region: Which Wallet to Use in PH, ID, Brazil and MENA

Payment rails decide everything in MLBB. The game is the same, the checkout is not.

You want the wallet that clears instantly, shows the total before you tap Pay, and doesn't add a surprise fee. My rule: ignore the banner, look at the final total.

Philippines — Mobile Legends Top Up GCash

GCash is the default for most PH players. It's fast, on your phone, and widely accepted.

GCash itself has run promos in the past, like 10% cashback on MLBB top-ups with a minimum purchase of 100 PHP and a cap of 100 PHP cashback per account per day during the event window. Those promos are from GCash, not from any single store, and they come and go. Don't expect them every week.

Maya and debit cards work if GCash is under maintenance. Some sellers advertise savings versus the in-app store by avoiding app store fees — including claims of up to 30% — but the percentage is marketing until you see the final checkout total. For PH, I usually check the Mobile Legends Diamonds price on VGToPup before topping up with GCash to see the live total in PHP and confirm which diamond tier still has its first-purchase bonus.

Indonesia — MLBB Top Up DANA

DANA is the workhorse in Indonesia. OVO and GoPay also work, and all three appear at most checkouts.

The big win for new buyers isn't wallet-specific. MLBB gives a one-time Double Diamond bonus — 2x diamonds — on your first purchase of each diamond tier, no matter which payment rail you use. If you have never bought the 50-diamond or 100-diamond pack before, your first one is doubled. Use it on a tier you actually want.

DANA clears as a local wallet payment. Between DANA and OVO, I pick DANA for MLBB because I see fewer failed transactions. Compare your total on the MLBB top up page with DANA support so you catch any bonus tier before you pay.

Brazil — Mobile Legends Top Up PIX

PIX settles instantly in reais. You avoid the card foreign-fee dance and get confirmation in seconds.

Most PH/ID promo chatter doesn't apply here. Brazil rarely sees GCash-style cashback for MLBB. What you want from a PIX checkout is a clear BRL total with no hidden IOF or spread. I prefer PIX over Boleto because Boleto can take hours and your diamonds sit pending. PIX either works or it doesn't — you know right away.

MENA — MLBB Top Up Mada

Mada is the card you already have in Saudi Arabia and nearby markets. It works like a local debit rail and clears domestically. Like PIX, the advantage is paying in your own currency without a cross-border fee. You won't see the same 10% GCash promos here. The win is price stability and instant confirmation.

Here is a quick snapshot of what promos and conditions I have actually seen reported for these rails:

Wallet / Region Example Promo Reported Condition
GCash (Philippines) 10% cashback, capped at 100 PHP Minimum purchase 100 PHP, once per account per day during promo period
DANA / OVO (Indonesia) 2x Double Diamond bonus Once per diamond tier on your first purchase
PIX (Brazil) / Mada (MENA) No regular bonus Price shown at checkout is what you pay; verify total before confirming

Promos expire. I never assume a cashback is live until I see it applied on the payment page itself.

How to Top Up in Under Two Minutes

You need two numbers and one decision. That's it.

Your User ID and Zone ID are permanent numeric identifiers. Tap your profile avatar in the upper-left corner of the main lobby. Your User ID is the long number, your Zone ID is the smaller number in parentheses next to it. Copy both exactly.

Entering the wrong User ID or Zone ID can send diamonds to the wrong account irreversibly. No recall. I double-check the last three digits out loud before I pay — five seconds that has saved me once.

The flow I use:

  • Pick your pack. Weekly Diamond Pass for value, standard diamonds if you need recharge progress, StarLight if you want the monthly skin.
  • Enter User ID and Zone ID. No password. No login.
  • Select your local wallet — GCash, DANA, PIX or Mada — and confirm the total.
  • Pay in your wallet app and wait for the in-game mail. Reputable stores show the total before you pay; diamonds credit after payment confirmation.

If you want to skip app store markups and pay with the wallet you already use, you can top up Mobile Legends: Bang Bang via UID and pay with your local rail directly.

What to Buy With $5, $20 or $50

Three budgets, three different buys.

$5 — The daily grinder. You log in every day and want max diamonds per dollar. Get the Weekly Diamond Pass. You get 220 diamonds over seven days for roughly ₱131.86 / Rp. 27.550 in PH/ID pricing. Don't buy Twilight Pass here. Don't buy a tiny 5-diamond pack just to test. If a recharge event is running and you need that free skin, add the cheapest standard diamond pack that qualifies — Weekly Pass will not count.

$20 — The event chaser. You want the recharge skin and a little extra. Buy one Weekly Diamond Pass for value, then put the rest into standard diamonds to clear the recharge threshold. If you still have your first-purchase Double Diamond bonus on a tier, use it now. That 2x on your first 100 or 300 diamond pack is the best one-time boost you will get.

$50 — The StarLight player. You want the monthly skin and enough diamonds for draws. Buy StarLight for 300 Diamonds (or 750 for Plus if you want the extra painted skin), keep a Weekly Pass running, and put the remainder into standard diamonds. Don't dump the whole $50 into one giant pack unless you have already used all your first-purchase doubles.

Diamond packs range from 5 diamonds up to 5035 diamonds. Bigger isn't always better if you haven't used your 2x first-buy bonus on the smaller tiers.

Safety Check: What a Real Store Asks For vs What a Scam Asks For

This is short on purpose.

A legitimate UID top-up asks for: User ID and Zone ID, pack selection, and payment. That's all. Your User ID and Zone ID are public identifiers. Sharing them with a real store is normal.

A scam asks for: your Moonton password, login code, email verification, or asks you to log in on a fake site. No real top-up needs your password. Ever. If a page asks for it, close it.

Watch for the classics: a price 50% cheaper than everywhere else, a seller who says “send diamonds after you send GCash directly to my personal number,” or a checkout that doesn't show the final total before you pay. If you can't see the total, don't pay.

FAQ

Where can I find my Mobile Legends User ID and Zone ID?

Tap your profile avatar in the upper-left corner of the main lobby. Your User ID is the main long number and your Zone ID is the smaller number in parentheses next to it. Copy both carefully — a typo can send your diamonds to someone else.

Does the Weekly Diamond Pass count toward recharge events?

No. The Weekly Diamond Pass gives you 220 diamonds over 7 days but it does not count toward Recharge Benefits. If you want to clear a recharge event, you need to buy standard diamonds separately.

Can third-party top-up platforms deliver diamonds instantly?

Most reputable platforms credit diamonds within seconds once payment is confirmed and your IDs are correct. Timing can vary by wallet and traffic, so check the product page for current delivery notes.

Is it safe to share my User ID with a top-up store?

Yes, your User ID and Zone ID are meant to be shared for top-ups. They are public identifiers. Never share your password, login code, or email access with any seller.

Which payment should I use in my country?

Use the rail that settles in your currency: GCash (or Maya) in the Philippines, DANA or OVO in Indonesia, PIX in Brazil, and Mada in MENA. Each settles locally so you see the total in your currency before you pay. Check the total before you confirm.

What is the cheapest way to get StarLight?

StarLight costs 300 Diamonds and StarLight Plus costs 750 Diamonds. The cheapest path is usually to top up diamonds first, then activate StarLight in-game. If you are new, use your first-purchase Double Diamond bonus on a diamond tier before buying StarLight to stretch your budget.

My Verdict by Region: The Wallet I Would Actually Pick

Philippines: GCash. Least friction. Watch for GCash promos like that 10% cashback with a 100 PHP minimum and 100 PHP cap, but don't wait for them. If the total looks right, buy.

Indonesia: DANA. Use your one-time 2x Double Diamond bonus on a tier you'll actually use, then keep a Weekly Diamond Pass running for daily value. OVO is fine as a backup.

Brazil: PIX. Instant in reais, no Boleto delay, no card spread. If a store doesn't show a BRL total before you pay, skip it.

MENA: Mada. Local debit, local currency, instant confirmation. No need to hunt for PH-style cashback that doesn't exist there.

Across all regions, same hierarchy: Weekly Diamond Pass for value (220 diamonds over 7 days), standard diamonds for recharge events, StarLight for 300 Diamonds when you want the monthly skin. Don't mix them up. Always double-check that User ID and Zone ID — a two-second check beats a week of tickets.
