Why Lucia Wins the Free Selector
1. She fills a role the rest of the pool cannot
Jane, Sanby, Trigger, and Hugo fight for DPS or Stun slots you can already cover elsewhere. Lucia is Ether Support for Rupture. Live Rupture DPS options include Starlight Billy, Yixuan, Yidhari, Banyue, and shop A-Rank Manato. Own any of them and Lucia raises the whole clear. Plan to pull one later and she is still the prep step that sticks.

Soldier 0 - Anby: Clean Electric Aftershock carry. She swaps into a DPS slot; she does not unlock a new support lane.
Hugo: Ice Totalize specialist. Buffed Soldier 11 can press the same content for free. Claim Hugo when you want his kit, not when you want the safest gift.

Is free Lucia still worth it if I already own her?
M0 to M1 is worth the gift. All-Attribute RES ignore and Echo refresh move her clear speed. M1 to M2 stays strong on Sheer DMG teams. Skip duplicates past M3.
Can I pick Jane without Remielle?
Jane still works as a Physical Anomaly DPS. Remielle is what pushes her into priority territory. Without that pull plan, Lucia covers more of the account.
Should F2P players skip Hugo?
For raw account value, skip him. Hugo wants dedicated Stun partners and gives less flexibility than Lucia or Jane. Claim him when he is the Agent you came for.
Does the free W-Engine have to match the Agent?
