Honkai Star Rail Redeem Codes April 2026: Which Are Still Live, Which Are Dead

I've never spent a cent on this game, and that's exactly the lens that matters here. The three April anniversary codes (HERESTHECODE, SHAREANDSAVEIT, HAPPY3RDANNIV) are all dead, gone since April 11 2026 per IGN. Stop pasting them. Red error, every time. What you can still grab is a pile of longer-lived codes (OMEGA, CREATIONNYMPH and the rest) that hand over more total jade than the anniversary drop ever did.

So I went digging. I wanted to know how much of the "updated April 2026 codes!" content is actually live versus padded with corpses to look fat. I treated the big roundups as test subjects: cross-checked every code listed across IGN, Game8, PC Gamer, Pocket Tactics and Lootbar against reward values and stated expiry, then ran the live ones through three ways a redemption fails (wrong server, repeat claim, the post-stream expiry window). A code only "passed" if it traced to a current source AND survived the redemption logic. Here's the wreckage and what's left standing.

The anniversary codes half the internet keeps reposting

This is the trap, and it's loud. That 4.2 third-anniversary Special Program in early April dropped three codes worth 300 Stellar Jade combined, per Lootbar's breakdown of typical stream rewards. Every single one died on April 11. And here's what got me: those weren't even the fattest jade source of the month, yet they're the ones still pinned to the top of half the "April 2026 active" lists I poked at.

Code Reward Status
HERESTHECODE 100 Stellar Jade + 50,000 Credits Expired Apr 11 2026
SHAREANDSAVEIT 100 Stellar Jade + 5 Traveler's Guide Expired Apr 11 2026
HAPPY3RDANNIV 100 Stellar Jade + 4 Refined Aether Expired Apr 11 2026

Why the short fuse on these? Livestream codes exist to reward people who actually tune into the broadcast, not folks farming guides a week later. Game8's 4.2 notes peg the window at roughly 27 hours after the English stream, and across the sources I checked the general rule lands somewhere in the 24–48 hour range. So when a guide swears HAPPY3RDANNIV still "works," that page hasn't been touched since spring. My read is simple: a list that can't be bothered to bury its dead isn't a list I'd trust on the live ones either.

The codes that actually redeem right now

What survived the check. These are the longer-lived codes still floating around the June 2026 roundups, way more durable than livestream drops, and together worth more than the whole anniversary haul.

Code Reward
OMEGA 60 Stellar Jade + 1 Fuel
CREATIONNYMPH 60 Stellar Jade + 1 Fuel + 1 Heroic Variable
FAREWELL 60 Stellar Jade + 1 Fuel
IFYOUAREREADINGTHIS 60 Stellar Jade + 1 Fuel
VS3Q5VK9CMFP 50 Stellar Jade + 10,000 Credits
BladeFitCheck 3 Traveler's Guide + 2 Cold Joke

OMEGA and CREATIONNYMPH each fork over 60 Stellar Jade plus a Fuel, with CREATIONNYMPH tossing a Heroic Variable on the pile, per Game8. BladeFitCheck is the weird one. No jade at all, just 3 Traveler's Guide and 2 Cold Joke, flagged as a newer entry by PC Gamer. VS3Q5VK9CMFP is the lone alphanumeric string in the bunch, and that matters for a reason I'll hit in the error section: those mixed-case codes are exactly where people fat-finger the entry and then go blame the code.

The supposedly "boring" non-livestream codes outvalue the headline anniversary drop. Multiple June roundups (PC Gamer, Pocket Tactics) put the running total from currently listed active codes at over 400 Stellar Jade, against the 300 the entire third-anniversary stream gave. The whole "catch the livestream or miss out" panic is mostly backwards. What you miss by skipping the broadcast is the speed, not the bulk of the month's free jade.

Web portal vs in-game: which one to actually use

Two roads in. The web portal smokes the in-game route on speed, but some of you genuinely need to be on the in-game path instead.

The web method runs through HoYoverse's official gift page. Hit hsr.hoyoverse.com/gift, log into your HoYoverse account, pick your server, punch in the code, then scoop the reward from your in-game mailbox. Five steps, no client restart, and you can knock it out on a phone browser while the game patches. The in-game version: Menu, the three dots next to your profile, Redemption Code, enter, claim from mail, per HSR Wiki.

Honkai: Star Rail in-game redemption code menu

The part that decides it for me, and why I steer everyone to the portal: iOS players can't redeem in-game at all. Game8 spells it out, iPhone and iPad users go web-only. So if you're on iOS, every "open the in-game menu" tutorial clogging YouTube is useless to you. PS5 folks are roughly in the same spot in practice. The portal is the clean, console-agnostic path, and once a code is claimed it drops into your mail to collect from whatever device you log in on. Claim on a browser, grab the jade on console. Done.

Honkai: Star Rail official web redemption interface

One gate stands in front of all of it. You need to have cleared the early Trailblaze Mission "A Moment of Peace," per the wiki, which is roughly a Level 10–15-equivalent point in the opening hours. Brand-new accounts that haven't gotten there will watch redemption fail with nothing landing. And every code is single-use per account, so no double-dipping across your devices.

Why a perfectly good code throws an error

Honkai: Star Rail code redemption error screen

I deliberately tanked some redemptions to map the failure states, because "code not working" is the loudest complaint out there and it's almost never the code's fault. Per Gamsgo and the official portal, valid codes get rejected for four reasons, ranked here by how often they actually bite:

  1. Already redeemed. Single-use per account. If you grabbed OMEGA last week and forgot, today it reads as used, not invalid.
  2. Wrong region/server. The sneaky one. Logging into the wrong regional HoYoverse account triggers a silent failure, which the official portal calls out directly. The page auto-detects server from your login, so if you run both an America and an Asia account, it can quietly aim at the wrong one. No loud error. Just no jade.
  3. Case mismatch. Codes are case-sensitive. That's where VS3Q5VK9CMFP earns its reputation. A single lowercase slip in an alphanumeric string fails clean, while a word-based code like FAREWELL shrugs it off by comparison.
  4. Expired. Which loops us right back to those April codes, all of which now live in this bucket.

When a code you know is current shows "expired" too soon, it's almost always a server mismatch wearing an expiry mask, or a livestream code whose window genuinely shut while you weren't watching. So confirm your logged-in region first, retype the thing by hand instead of pasting (paste loves to drag a trailing space along), and only then call it dead.

What 400-plus jade actually buys you

Honkai: Star Rail jade value comparison chart

Let's convert it. At the official rate of 160 Stellar Jade per Warp, that old 300-jade anniversary stream shook out to about 1.875 pulls, per Lootbar's count against standard pull costs. Not even two pulls for sitting through a whole livestream.

The currently active set reads better. With the live codes totaling north of 400 Stellar Jade, you're sitting on roughly two and a half Warps before you even count the Credits, Fuel and Traveler's Guides bundled in. Still not a 10-pull, no. But it's free, it's a five-minute chore, and the Fuel alone (good for extra Calyx and Cavern runs) quietly pulls its weight for anyone actively leveling characters.

Honest framing for a permanent F2P: codes are a topping, not the meal. Daily logins and event jade swamp them over a full patch. The reason to bother at all is the burst. A livestream's three codes landing in one window is the closest HSR gets to handing you free pulls on a schedule. If you're sitting there deciding whether to convert that little jade pile into a guaranteed pull instead of opening your wallet, that's the moment to weigh a Honkai: Star Rail top up against just banking the freebies. Disclosure: that's an affiliate link, and the F2P-friendly verdict for most low-spenders is, predictably, to bank.

Grab these first, and when the next batch drops

If you do one thing today, redeem CREATIONNYMPH, OMEGA, FAREWELL and IFYOUAREREADINGTHIS for the four 60-jade hits, then VS3Q5VK9CMFP for the 50 jade plus Credits. BladeFitCheck dead last. It's materials only, no jade, so it's the one code you can shrug off if you forget.

Sort yourself by situation:

If you're… Do this Skip this
A returning player (codes piled up) Web portal, all jade codes in one sitting Hunting the dead April anniversary codes
On iOS Web portal only — in-game won't work Every "open the in-game menu" tutorial
On PS5 / console Redeem via browser, collect from in-game mail Waiting to do it inside the client
Brand new (pre-"A Moment of Peace") Finish the mission first, then redeem Trying codes early and assuming they're broken

On timing, the next jade burst rides the next Special Program livestream. Post-June 2026, with 4.3 ongoing, the next broadcast is expected in the late June / early July window per the standard schedule the current roundups all point at. When it airs, the pattern's reliable: figure three codes, around 300 jade total, live for 24–48 hours, sometimes staggered across the broadcast rather than all dropping at once. Redeem them the day they show up. The most common avoidable jade loss in this game isn't a botched banner pull. It's letting a livestream code rot because you swore you'd get to it later.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the April 2026 anniversary codes still active in June?

Nope. HERESTHECODE, SHAREANDSAVEIT and HAPPY3RDANNIV all expired April 11 2026 per IGN, about 27 hours after the 4.2 English stream went quiet. Any list still flagging them as live is stale. The jade is gone for good, there's no grace period and no retroactive claim, so don't burn a redemption attempt on them.

Can PS5 players redeem Honkai Star Rail codes?

Yeah, but the cleanest road is the web portal at hsr.hoyoverse.com/gift, not fishing around the console UI. Log in, pick your server, enter the code, and the reward lands in your in-game mailbox to collect on PS5. Since rewards arrive in mail and codes are single-use per account, you only ever redeem once no matter how many devices you play across.

Do HSR codes work across all servers?

A code itself is valid globally, but redemption is bolted to the specific account and server you're logged into, and that's where it trips people. The portal auto-detects your server from the login, so if you hold both an Asia and an America account, it can silently aim at the wrong one and fail with no clear error. Confirm the active region before you go blaming the code.

Why does a code I just copied show as expired?

Two usual suspects. Either it's a livestream code whose 24–48 hour window genuinely closed, or it's a silent server mismatch reading as failure. Before you write it off, retype the code by hand (paste drags trailing spaces), watch case-sensitivity on alphanumeric codes like VS3Q5VK9CMFP, and verify your logged-in region.

How much Stellar Jade can I get from codes this month?

The currently active set totals over 400 Stellar Jade per the June 2026 roundups from PC Gamer and Pocket Tactics, which works out to roughly two and a half Warps at the official 160-jade-per-pull rate, plus the Credits, Fuel and Traveler's Guides riding along. That's more than the entire 300-jade third-anniversary livestream handed out, a fact that genuinely throws most players still chasing the dead anniversary codes.
